Sarraflu pond (Maltese: L-Għadira ta' Sarraflu) is a small freshwater pond near Kerċem, Gozo. It is one of the few ponds on the islands that hold water all year, and its water is green with algae. In Malta in Minecraft it has its own biome, with green water, a mud floor and lily pads.
How it differs from vanilla
- Its own biome (
maltamc:ghadira_alka_pondon the F3 screen): olive-green water, like the real pond's algae, instead of the blue of a vanilla pond. - Frogs spawn round it, as in a swamp, but there are no swamp oaks or vines, and slimes don't spawn at the surface. It is a farmland pond, not a swamp.
- Shallow, with soft banks. The water is one block deep over a mud floor, and the grassy banks step down to it in low one-block steps instead of dropping as stone walls.
- Lily pads cover about one block in twelve.
